Fixed the Remember Me checkbox on the main page. When using this function, keep in mind that your username and password will be stored in cookies on your computer, so if you share you play on a shared or public computer or if your computer doesn't have proper security, I recommend not using this function. The cookies have an expiration date of 90 days.

Added a new spell in the Magic Shop called the "Stat Shifter" which is used to move 1,000 points from one stat to another. However your stats cannot be lowered bellow 1. The cost for this spell is 150,000 gold and 1,500 gems.

The Custom NPC gold payouts were increased for higher levels:
-at level 200 million the reward is 1250 gold

There are 5 types of tournaments, each with one event:
jousting, for which you need jousting gear
war cry, for which you need raw health
fencing, for which you need a rapier, agility and dexterity stats
sword fighting, for which you need strength and endurance stats
unarmed combat, for which your raw stats count
There are 5 skills:
courage, needed for jousting and gained from unarmed combat
stamina, needed for war cry and gained from jousting
morale, needed for fencing and gained from war cry
agility, needed for sword fighting and gained from fencing
might, needed for unarmed combat and gained from sword fighting
So all the events are interdependent. In an event gear and stats count as 50% and the skill counts as 50%.
For now tournaments will be only for 4 players but I might add bigger ones in the future.
Depending on how well you do in an event, you will gain gold and
skill points
0.25 gained skill and 0.1 needed skill for 1st place
0.2 gained skill and 0.05 needed skill for 2nd place
0.15 gained skill for 3rd place
0.1 gained skill for 4th place
For example: if you are first in a jousting tournament, you will gain 0.25 stamina and 0.1 courage.
When a skill reaches 50, it resets back to 1 and your gold rewards for that particular event increase.
Players will be allowed to enter a certain number of events each day.
nondonators can enter 5 events per day
for bronze membership you can enter 8 events per day
for silver membership you can enter 11 events per day
for gold membership you can enter 15 events per day
The winner of an event will also receive gold.
at level 0, the reward is 4,000 gold
at level 1, the reward is 10,000 gold
at level 2, the reward is 30,000 gold
at level 3, the reward is 60,000 gold
at level 4, the reward is 100,000 gold
at level 5, the reward is 140,000 gold
at level 6, the reward is 200,000 gold
at level 7, the reward is 260,000 gold
at level 8, the reward is 320,000 gold
The sign up fee is a quarter of the reward.

Added a new alliance building: the Luck Shrine
The Luck Shrine has a maximum level of 15
Each level will increase by 1% the chance to get extra gold and extra gems for logging in, to get more gold, more gems, better items from beasts and increases gold rush and gem rush amounts by 1% per level
The gold rewards for the Custom NPC were increased for higher levels.
Therefore at level 9,000,000 the reward is 650 gold
Al level 14,000,000 the reward is 900 gold
At level 25,000,000 the reward is 1,000 gold
At level 50,000,000 the reward is 1,100 gold
At level 99,000,000 the reward is 1,200 gold

The first batch of alliance buildings is in.
There are currently 7 alliance buildings, each boosting one of the 7 skills.
Players now gain 1 stat point every level instead of 50. Monsters and beasts have had their stats reduced to match this.
The custom NPC now gives 650 gold at level 9 million and 900 gold at level 14 million.

Alliance leaders can set a gold tax from 0-25%. This means a percentage of the gold earned from regular NPCs as well as the custom NPC will go to your alliance.

I've changed the formula for alliance experience gains. Lower level players will gain more alliance experience than high level ones. This is meant to encourage alliances to take in newbies and show them the ropes.
Alliance experience gains now range from ~100 (at level 125k, gold) to ~1000 (at level 1, gold)
Alliance experience gains are affected by the type of membership you have, and you can still gain alliance experience after you've reached the level cap.

A basic version of alliances has been released
They cost 1,500 gems and 1,000,000 gold to create
Players in an alliance may defend the kingdoms of fellow alliance members, create group kingdom attacks as well as see when someone in their alliance is attacked
The reward for voting has been increased from 10,000 gold to 25,000 gold.
Exchanging wood-iron, wood-stone, stone-iron and vice-versa is now done on a 5:1 ratio instead of 10:1.

Defenders can now see kingdom attack reports. There is a small price to pay to see a report (your level/10) but once a report has been paid for, it will be available for you at no extra cost.
You can now send spies into other kingdoms. It costs 10k gold to send a spy. The spy will either fail his mission or successfully report one kingdom stat (unit numbers, defensive structure numbers, or resources). The spy can be caught by the enemy and the spy may also confess as to who sent him.
Spies report the kingdom statistic at the time they were sent and not at the time you receive the report. So basically you'll receive info that is 10 minutes old.

Since now there are 5 beasts instead of 4, the chance to summon one has been increased.
I disabled stealth mode for all players in order to do an update. You are free to reactivate the option.
When a beast is summoned, all the players who were active within a minute of this event will receive a notification. This also works if the player is in stealth mode.

A new Rush Build spell was added to the Magic Shop that drops 1 hour off the current build timer.
Added a new beast called "An Ice Warrior". The reward for killing it is 1-4 skill points, which will be added to your current skill in training. Your current skill must be lower than the skill cap for you to gain the points. The Ice Warrior can also be summoned using the Beast Magnet

Kingdom attacks have been completely redone. This means:
Attacks no longer take place in waves, so losses will be lower for the army with superior numbers
Players gain resources from attacks when the defender loses the bulk of his army, so a kingdom doesn't have to be completely destroyed for you to gain resources
The devil's contract now also protects your army against losses
The leadership bonus for army strength is a lot higher now
You can no longer see the size of the defender's army, just the losses

The cost to upgrade items is now based on the item's value. Therefore the cost is reduced for ALL items but low end items benefit the most.
There will not be any more messages in chat when players in stealth mode add money to the jackpot. The money will still be added to the pot though. However when a player in stealth mode wins the pot, there will still be a message.

The membership page has been completely redone. The page now displays the advantages of becoming a member.
Added the option to upgrade and downgrade your membership.
Membership duration is converted according to the following ratio: 30 days of bronze membership=20 days of silver membership=10 days of gold membership.
You may upgrade your membership whenever you want but you are limited to one downgrade per calendar month.

Just to clarify: the long loading time after clicking the fight button is intentional. It represents the amount of time it takes you to fight that particular NPC. This loading time can be decreased significantly by improving your speed skill.
You can now customize your chat text. Type /bold to toggle bold text on and off, type /italic to toggle italic text on and off, type /hex ABCDEF to change the text's colour. Replace ABCDEF with the hex code of the colour you want.
Members now do not see ads. Instead they see a Kings of Legend banner. This banner can be disabled from the Account Options page.
Members can now go into stealth mode. When you're in stealth mode your last active time doesn't update so you'll show up to other users as offline.
The battle ladder has been added. You can attack people higher than you on the ladder even if they are less than half your level. You are allowed to duel once every 30 minutes.
You now receive 1000/2000/3000 gems when buying bronze/silver/gold membership with paypal.
